These policies, along with our Safety Waiver, must be agreed to prior to participating in any Custom Street DIY parties or events.
A non-refundable deposit of $100 is due when booking any private DIY party. If you choose to cancel your private party, this deposit cannot be refunded due to the custom nature of our studio and the growing demand for private party availability. Cancellations or reschedules can be issued a transfer credit for a future party within 1 year of missed date.
For private DIY parties, we require all attendees to provide complete design/customization preferences for their project at least 5 days in advance so that we can prepare the materials for your party. Private parties can be billed individually or in groups. We accept payment in the form of cash, credit or debit card payments through Square, Cash App, Venmo, and PayPal. Personal checks are not accepted at this time; we apologize for the inconvenience. Payment is required prior to or at the start of the party.
Due to the tools and stains used, infants and children under the age of 4 are not permitted to participate in any of our DIY parties. Children ages 4-12 are permitted to participate in paint only workshops (no distressing or staining). Teens and adults ages 13 and up are permitted to participate in any of our DIY parties, including those that involve distressing and staining. If you would like to make changes to your chosen project or design, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we would be happy to accommodate your request. Changes requested prior to 72 hours before your party are done free of charge. Changes requested within 72 hours of your party, we can do so for a $10 stencil recut fee, payable upon the start of your party.
Design Change Requests
I understand that I may use and/or be exposed to various types of materials including a variety of tools, stains, and paints during Custom Street DIY parties. I agree to be responsible for any damages to Custom Street’s tools, equipment or facilities, to the extent and in the percentage I cause such damages.
I recognize there may be certain inherent risks in participating in Custom Street DIY parties. I agree to take precautions and observe all Custom Street policies, recommendations, directions, rules and warnings; whether provided orally or in writing. I assume full responsibility for personal injury to myself and my personal belongings. I also understand that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present or working closely together.
I further agree to release and discharge Custom Street Creative Studio for any illness, injury, loss or damage that may arise out of my participation in a DIY party or my presence in a Custom Street facility whether caused by me, Custom Street Creative Studio, or any third party.
I agree to indemnify and defend Custom Street Creative Studio against all claims, causes of action, damages, judgments costs or expenses including reasonable attorney’s fees and other litigation costs which may in any way arise from my participation in a DIY party or my presence in a Custom Street facility.
I also consent to the use of any photos taken during Custom Street events on the company social media pages and/or website. (We love sharing photos of the beautiful work you create through our social media and print advertisements! If you would prefer us not share your image, please tell a staff member during your DIY party that you would not like to be in any photos. Please do not share any photos or tag us if you prefer to keep your image private.)
This Safety Waiver, along with the above Policies, must be read and agreed to prior to participating in any Custom Street DIY parties or events. One submission per person required. Parents registering a child for an event must submit one for each child participating.
